Observations

1. The world is a lot bigger than me ... or my church. There are hurting people ... persecuted people ... starving people ... dying people. I need to think globally in the decisions I make (or decisions I may make one day if I work at a church). I need to be a good steward of the money and other resources God has given me in order to best service the Church worldwide.

2. You learn a lot more by watching and listening (duh). You learn things you like and things you don't like ... you learn good ways to do things and bad ways to do things ... you begin to learn who people really are and not what you think they are.

3. Maybe God isn't so concerned with WHAT I am doing but that I am doing SOMETHING to glorifying Him. Meaning, maybe God isn't so concerned that I work in youth ministry or music ministry or as a stay at home mom someday or as a Starbucks Barista or as a missionary, but that whatever I am doing at that point in time in my life that I do it to the best of my ability for the glory of His Name.

4. People need to experience the "Whitworth Choir Community." It changes you. It changes your expectations of community. It changes your outlook on others. It changes the way you have conversations. It is the way people should live together in community. It sucks to be without it cause nothing else is like it.
