Purpose

Once again, in the span of just a few days, Oswald Chambers has really driven it home for me. This time of unemployment and waiting has really caused me to question a lot of what it is that Christ has called me to. Quite honestly, I don't understand my circumstances right now, but I do have hope that God is using this time in my life to work for something greater, to accomplish HIS purposes in me. Even though I don't always feel that right now or understand what that is, I can rest assured that God, in His providence and faithfulness, is at work. "God by His providence brings you into circumstances that you can't understand at all, but the Spirit of God understands. God brings you to places, among people, and into certain conditions to accomplish a definite purpose through the intercession of the Spirit in you."
